SARAKINIKO. WALKING ON THE GREEK MOON
Avvicinarsi a Sarakiniko è qualcosa che si distingue decisamente dall’ordinario e approdarvi fa subito pensare ad un paesaggio lunare. Il bianco è accecante, il caldo è reso sopportabile solo dai venti che spazzano quella polvere bianca senza tregua. Anche i suoni sembrano seguire regole non ordinarie, un po’ per il fragore delle onde soffocato in gole e grotte sottomarine e un po’ per le voci umane che rimbalzano su quelle candide superfici come fanno i raggi solari.

The bone white beach derives from its unusual characteristics from volcanic rocks shaped by wind and wave.
